About me
Hi, I am Amanda Burnett. I am a Communications Practitioner and an Event Planner with over 10 years of experience in a variety of roles within the public sector, not-for-profit and private sector and I hold a M.A. in Media Studies. I started my journey from humble beginnings and i've engaged in years of volunteer work, internships, contract roles and permanent positions in order to gain a wide range of experiences in public relations, communications and events. I have experienced #BlackJoy, but I have also overcome a series of adversities in the labour market and I enjoy using my talents to help students and young professionals transition into the work force, find their dream job and I provide resources to help navigate challenges.
